We have officially launched the 2015 season. Big changes are on the way for Mountain View Camping, as we work to add some new landscaping and freshen things up around here. We are also beginning the conversion of several back-to-back sites into 30-amp pull-through spots. These will offer much more space for our customers with those big RV’s! This project is currently in its early phases, and we therefore do not have a solid completion date. This means we won’t be taking any reservations for the new section until we are confident the project will stay on track.
There is lots happening this month in the camping industry. Alberta RV parks are all gearing up for camping season – the Annual General Meeting for RVDA campground members is next week in Red Deer, and is a great opportunity for campground owners to get together and discuss our plans for the year. Also, the Canadian Camping and RV Council is meeting for its annual gathering in Ottawa on April 28th. This is a wonderful collaboration of campground owners, various camping and tourism councils, and RV dealers and manufacturers, all working together to better the RV and camping industries as a whole in Canada. I’ll be sure to post an update after these meetings!
Stay tuned for photos and updates on our construction and improvement projects!
